yes i hear the british government on changing drink.in my view police officers of rank should be wise.logic how can the age of drinking be raised to 21,police officers cant drink join at 18, soldiers die at 17 shoot at 17 kill at 17,to be a bar person 21,to be a manager of drinking establishment, to be waiters 21,again its education .so what is the problem, over the last ten year a million police have hit the streets thatis 24//7 (camera)so it cant be man power,its not the young,having spent ten years in education, we have teenagers who get too many A"s in examinations we teenagers dieing for their country we teenager who join police get jobs.
My guts say police are just keeping a high prophile to get a wage deal like the doctors,50% pay rise and no weekends or late nights,had over that to the cameras and private companies, its this whinging public servants,retire at 50 full pension index linked,what do you want as police officer crime is your job not media campaigns to feel wanted for more wages.
