wellcome bloggers.
well meath most lost in time, memory of the flight from england, my first memory of this country is longford visiting granny heavehan, with house full of people her daughters ect yes that one killing chicken for food, now thats what i call fast food, killed cooked and eaten all in afew hours. Meath is abit of ablur the house a two story house with piano in the front room no furniture, but two friends up the road two girls(relative)age coming back visiting and running up the road in the dead of night for tea woke up the house and they made me tea must have been 5 at the time, the next house a bungalow still not many recalls but one night i woke seeping in the front room a cot why i as sleeping in a cot with a brother barly 1,no idea but i woke to the sounds of bells and an old woman at the window, with a shawl, i ran and thats it, but i do remember the light was on, and next memory selling furniture to a man, why? no idea, mick had ajob in a stable and went to races on a regular bases, also we went hair hunting at night and i got a fright. That all no memories of nancy jim or kathleen,At this time i always have regarded my manhood school, yes school remember being very ill at school, in class and the humiliation on many occasions, and the walk home, a dog a big dog(relative) stood in my way, i would move so would the dog i waited for a passer by and walk on. The situation went on i would walk and the dog would wait and bark within an inch of my nose, so i remember all the sickness and the terror of the dog but one day i walk up to the dog and kept going it barked for the usual 50 yards but after that the dog took no notice so fear had been overcome at five,as for the sickness, the humiliation in class, i today i still avoid embarrassing encounters, but i know how to overcome and nothing i have meet since has reached the humiliation in the class room. onwards i became self sufficient or as trick cyclist say moved inward. The time with the dog i now look back with pride, today i would take notice of the dog and change direction, but at the age of five no choiceThe strength gathered from both the school and the dog stood beside me for the rest of my life to date,That it all i remember next i recall the trip down to kerry. Strange as it may seem large quantities of my past are gone for good, some would say good ridence.
Next kerry not alot to write, the repeat of meath, but something strange happen and there was money to be made and the butcher and the beast were at hand wiyh open pockets.
